“I really have to start taking more pictures of my experiences.” The office is always very bright and welcoming. The front desk staff is super amazing. Granted I only see them twice a year, they are nothing less than professional and we always seem to share a laugh or two before I am seen for service. This year I may see them for more services than my regular biannual checkup and cleaning. On May 1st, I had a small periodontal surgery to correct a “6 pocket” between L10 and 11. The surgery was being performed by Dr. David Long, a traveling periodontist with his own personal aid. The aid, greeted me and escorted me back to the dental room, prepped me for the procedure, and gave me verbal instructions for care after the surgery. After a few minutes, the doctor came in. Before beginning, Dr. Long made sure I got my medication for post surgery from a military pharmacy. He went over the procedure once more, then it was time for action. He asked what type of music I liked and since I enjoy all kinds of music, we decided to go with something calming. He made sure I was comfortable and numb in the area of work. Come to find out that 6 was really a 8 or 9. After discovering how deep that pocket actually was, he said, “I’m really happy we’re doing this.” Besides all of the great care they’d given me, that statement alone reassure me that I was in good hands. After about 20 minutes, the procedure was over. Dr. Long stitched me up and his aid handed me written instructions to follow to reinforce her verbal ones. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience. I know this post does not talk about Tierrasanta Dental’s regular services, but I hope this helps to show you that they care about their patients and wants the best for them when it comes to taking care of their dental health. With that said, I highly recommended Tierrasanta Dental for your dental work 😊.

Tierrasanta Dental Group is hands-down the best dental experience I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming, friendly, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Everyone was professional, yet warm—you can tell they actually care. What really stood out was the top-tier technology they use. Everything from the imaging to the cleaning tools felt modern and efficient, and it made the whole experience quicker and more comfortable than any other dental office I’ve been to. If you’re looking for a place where you’ll feel taken care of, respected, and treated with real professionalism, this is it. Couldn’t recommend them more. I’ll definitely be returning

I normally don’t like afternoon DDS appts but I was in and out in a flash. Considerate staff made my visit a delight. Good team at Tierrasanta Dental Group!
